Determining your hat size is quick and easy. All you need is some sort of tape measure or string that can be measured.
Place the tape around your head right above your ear. It should across your mid-forehead, 1/8" above your ear, completely circling your head, and taut.
Then use the chart below to find your 'Label' size. If you are in between sizes choose the next largest size.
Use this chart to determine your Hat Size. We use the fitted row for our products.

The Panama hat is a finely woven hat made out of toquilla palms on Ecuador’s Pacific coast. The finer the weave, the finer the hat. A hat that is considered to be of 'Ultrafino' grade contains at least 600 weaves per square inch and takes about 6 months to make. When the company was started in 2003 the first hat ever sold was an Ultrafino grade Panama Hat. The name Ultrafino had a certain feeling of excitement, uniqueness, and quality. We wanted all of our products to radiate the same feeling of owning an Ultrafino grade hat. And so began Ultrafino Panama Hats.
Ultrafino means ultra-fine in Spanish and it has become the raw definition of the company. Everything we do is aligned to the name. We strive to provide ultra-fine customer service while providing ultra-fine quality hats.

Now own several Ultrafino hats, both casual and others a little more formal like this one. As usual it is a very well designed and constructed hat and it elicits numerous favorable comments every time I wear it. Keep ‘em coming!
I really like this hat and I’m looking for more in the older fedora style and snap brim. This is a nice complement to my other hats.
This is my second hat purchased from Ultafino, the first was a Montecristi which I understand will be back on the market in a few days. For the price I have nothing but praise for Classico Trilby. The fit (I wear a large) was dead on and the hat matches all the photos on the website. I enjoy having the option of wearing a hat with a narrow brim such as this one and I received compliments on it's appearance the first day I wore it. If this is the look you seek pull the trigger and get yours today, you will not be disappointed.
Very well made hat. Good looking with quality detailing. The crown is more rounded and will probably be less prone to cracking. I have another hat from a different company that cracked on the sharper crown and needed to be repaired after wearing it a few times.
